Blog Commenting

 

Comments are usually limited to 2000 characters (approximately 300 words), and one URL link. No profanity is allowed. If you exceed these limits then your comment will be delayed, and posted only after an admin has reviewed and approved it.

Blog Posting

 

Anyone can submit a request to add content to the M4L Blog. Send the content (or a link to it) to ramy[at]muslims4liberty.org 

 

Format of a blog post (to be used by M4L Blog Contributors):  

1. Blog posts and essays should generally be limited to 2000 words. Longer posts should be split into 2 parts (2 separate posts). Exceptions can be made.

2. The beginning of any M4L blog post must have the author and date of the post.

3. After the first or second paragraph of the blog post you must add a “Read More” tag by either:

a) positioning the cursor to the end of the paragraph, and click on the “Insert Read More” button (Read More tag) located in the visual editor menu;

or

b) go to the text editor window and place the following code after the paragraph:  <!–more–>

 

4. If you add an image to your post, then scroll to the bottom of the editing page and add the same photo to the “Facebook Open Graph” section. Insert the image URL in the “Use this image” field.
